Pleasant Hill Mansion at The Governors Club
May we tour the venue?
Appointments for touring the venue may be made by contacting the Director of Catering, Amber Zilio at 615.776.4332 or fandbmanager@thegovernorsclub.net.

Is there a guest limit per event?
The Pleasant Hill Mansion can handle up to 250 guests for an event.

May I bring in my own wedding coordinator or wedding planner?
You may bring in your own wedding coordinator if you already have one hired or you may use our wedding coordinator for weddings with over 100 guests.

May we plan an event from out of town?
Our Director of Catering will work closely by phone or email to make sure all of your details are covered.

What vendors are not included?

You are responsible for booking your officiant, florist/decorator, photographer and music for the ceremony and reception. We can provide a list of preferred vendors upon request.

Are there photography restrictions?
Photographers are not allowed on the golf course because of liability issues. Please verify with our Director of Catering where your photos may be shot. 

How do we reserve space?
A signed contract and deposit are required to hold your date and must be approved by our Director of Catering. 

How is parking handled?
There are two parking lots available for guest use. There are also upgrades available for a traffic director and/or shuttle services. 

May we bring in rental items?
Rental items are your responsibility. There may be restrictions put on the delivery and pick-up of rental items depending the scheduling of events.

Is a rehearsal for the ceremony included?
There is a 1 hour rehearsal time allotted for weddings of 50 guests or more, the day prior to the ceremony.

Where does the wedding party get dressed?
There are dressing rooms upstairs in the Mansion for the wedding party to use prior to the ceremony.

May I taste the food before I decide on the menu?
A tasting for up to 4 people is available for couples planning a banquet reception for 100 or more guests.

May we bring in our own caterer?
The Governors Club is the in house caterer and provides all food and beverage for all events.

Is special pricing available for children?
Reduced pricing is available for children under 12.

What is the deposit and payment schedule?
The rental payment is considered the deposit and is due upon signing of the contract to hold the date. Two weeks out  the remaining balance is due and charged to a credit card that is on file.

What is the policy for leftover food?
Any leftover foods cannot leave the property. Sometimes more food is prepared than is necessary in order to make sure that your buffet always looks full.

Is there a service charge?
There is a service charge of 20% on all food and beverage.

What taxes are applicable?
Sales tax for the state of Tennessee is 9.75% applicable to all sales. Wine and alcohol also has an extra 15% state tax that is applied.

What forms of payment are acceptable?
Credit cards, checks, or cash are accepted.

Are beverage services offered?
Non- alcoholic events have a flat fee of $6.50++ for beverages.  Pricing on bars can be based on consumption or on a per glass basis.  The bar can be hosted or cash bar.
