Jamie Watford has been bringing creativity, connection, and celebration to The Governors Club for nearly two decades. She first joined the Club in 2007 as Sales & Marketing Director, serving in that role for ten successful years and earning recognition as Salesperson of the Year for her outstanding performance and dedication.

In 2016, Jamie stepped away to pursue her entrepreneurial spirit, launching her own business where she hosted private client events and curated unforgettable experiences. Her passion for creating meaningful moments never skipped a beat — and in 2024, she returned home to The Governors Club in her current role, bringing fresh inspiration and her signature love of adding a “theme” to life’s biggest celebrations.

When she’s not planning memorable events, Jamie enjoys traveling, experimenting with new dishes in the kitchen, and taking long walks with her beloved doodle. With her eye for detail, creative flair, and heart for hospitality, Jamie continues to make every gathering at The Governors Club something truly special.

Jodie Anderson

Jodie Anderson

Controller

Jodie Anderson is a high-energy, numbers-loving hospitality professional with more than 30 years of experience in the industry. A Controller and HR Manager since 1993, she has built her career on a rare combination of financial expertise and a genuine love for people — proving every day that spreadsheets and relationships can go hand in hand.

Jodie began her hospitality journey in the hotel industry, spending 15 years with Holiday Inn before bringing her talents to The Governors Club. She joined the Club on April 15, 2008 — yes, Tax Day — and proudly celebrates 18 years this year. Fittingly, she was born on the very first day of the fiscal year, so you could say numbers have always been part of her story.

And the numbers don’t stop there. Jodie was married on 05-05-05 (a date she chose with pride), and she is the proud mother of two sons and grandmother to five grandchildren — five boys and one girl, with number six on the way.

When she’s not at work (which she’ll tell you is rare), Jodie can be found outdoors. Whether she’s hiking, gardening, or simply enjoying fresh air, she finds her balance in nature. With her positive spirit, attention to detail, and heart for service, Jodie plays an essential role in keeping The Governors Club running smoothly — by the numbers and beyond.
